Three visiting researchers have joined the lab this year. We welcome Prof. Mikihiko from Tohoku University, Japan; and two graduate students from the Netherlands - Niki Tumelaire from Eindhoven University of Technology and Nick van Loo from Delft University of Technology.

Mihir gave a talk and Dan presented a poster at the 22nd International Conf. on Electronic Properties of Two Dimensional Systems/18th Int. Conf. on Modulated Semiconductor Structures at Penn State. Both were well received with lots of questions and follow-on discussions.

Jay has passed his thesis defense and has accepted a position at Raytheon in Boston. He will be working with former lab member Brian Schultz.

Hadass Inbar joins the lab from the Technion in Israel.

Tony will stay in Santa Barbara as a postdoc in the group.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Sahil and Steff's daughter Reyna.

Elliot Young joins our lab from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
