Bio

Shinichi earned a PhD in Applied Physics at University of Tokyo in Spring 2020. His PhD work was on topological materials, especially focusing on non-trivial bulk/surface magneto-transport phenomena emerging in topological Dirac semimetal films and interfaces. He joined the Palmstrom group as a postdoctoral fellow in Summer 2020 and has worked mainly on molecular beam epitaxy growth and spectroscopic/transport characterization of topologically non-trivial and half-metallic Heusler compounds and heterostructures
