Bio

Aaron attended the University of Rochester, where he studied contamination in diffraction gratings and growth optimization of MoTe₂. He also interned two summers at Sandia National Laboratories (Livermore) researching the interaction between tungsten and He plasma for nuclear fusion applications. In Fall 2019, he joined the Palmstrom group, pursuing a PhD in Materials at UCSB. In his spare time, he enjoys partaking in opportunities for free coffee around campus, going to the beach, and biking.
