Bio

Yu earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at UCSB in 2024 where she worked on methane pyrolysis for clean hydrogen energy. In her junior year, she joined the Palmstrøm group as an undergraduate and worked on silicon fin fabrication for qubits. After graduation, she continued with the Palmstrøm group to pursue her PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering. She currently studies Indium Antimonide Quantum Wells. In her spare time, she likes to go to the gym and bake desserts!
