Bio

Elliot received his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois, where he studied 2D transition metal trichalcogenides using scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy. He joined the group in 2017 when he began pursuing his PhD in Materials at UCSB. He graduated with a M.S. in Materials in Summer 2019.

• Angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES)

After the Palmstrom Group

Elliot currently works at FLIR in Santa Barbara. In his spare time he develops the free RHEED software sweeping the nation, "FRHEED".
